John Smith, the Edon man involved in the traffic death of an Edgerton couple last year was sentenced to six years in prison.
Smith pled guilty in a Williams County courtroom to vehicular homicide, DUI and more as prosecutors had reason to believe Smith was under the influence at the time of the incident.
Back in May of 2018, Smith collided head-on with another vehicle on U.S. 20, near Ohio 49. Both the driver and passenger of the other vehicle, David Williams and his wife, Roberta, were killed in the crash.
