Some overnight rain showers across the tri-state region will yield to some warmer temperatures through the day today and through Friday as well, but some rain showers are still possible in the forecast to start the weekend off.

As the risk of showers and thunderstorms are prevalent on Friday, Saturday and Sunday look to be mostly dry with very comfortable conditions. According to the National Weather Service, temperatures for the duration of the weekend will in the mid 70 degree range, with warmer conditions expected to return into early next week.
